Our tester was pleasantly surprised by this comparison. For 20g at $52 for the Tatcha & 21g at $8 for the ELF, she was hoping they would be similar & they ARE. For anyone who could not justify spending the money on Tatcha, ELF Poreless Putty is extremely close to Tatcha. Right down to the look & feel of it. She wore ELF on one side of her face & Tatcha on the othe. Tatcha filled in the pores a little bit more than ELF, but both sides of the face were incredibly smooth. Her foundation slid on over it with ease and blended out beautifully. The wear time with both was exactly the same. After a 12 hour work day both primers held up. For the price difference you really cannot beat ELF over Tatcha.
Brandefy & Jeffree Star approved ;)
Tatcha is super expensive so I’ve yet to try it. (I do have the travel size cleanser on the way though.) I just wanted to say ever since Jeffree Star compared the two and approved ELF it’s been sold out everywhere. I’ve heard from multiple people that the ELF is amazing especially for the price and DOES compare well to the tatcha. I’m hoping they restock so I can eventually get some!
